PATERNITY FRAUD – ‘THE CRIME ONLY A WOMAN CAN COMMIT’®™

"Ultimate Betrayal" is the true saga of who, what, when, where and why the fight for
Paternity Fraud Victims and Men’s Rights began.

With the past now behind him, Liam Magill reminisces about his night and day
struggle between good and evil.  When he discovered his ex-wife, Meredith
McClelland-Magill, bore two of their three children by a trusted family friend, Derek
Rowe, it didn’t take Liam very long to present his case in a court of law.
Liam was required to pay Child Support to his former wife for nearly a decade, while
Rowe fled interstate.  A vast amount of Liam’s modest income was forfeited every
two weeks to sustain the two children he did not father.
Eventually, it trapped him into an endless cycle of poverty.

Powerless to cope emotionally, Liam suffered severe depression, and it was
established by psychiatric specialists that he was unable to continue in his career.
The CSA's negligence to pursue Rowe for his own children, triggered Liam’s
immeasurable financial hardship, leaving him virtually penniless.  Ultimately, as he
lost his sense of identity and purpose, he spiraled hopelessly into a darkened abyss.

Together with the support of his current partner, Cheryl King, Liam faced the
courtroom judges with the courage and honor of a soldier in battle.  After eight long
years of entering one courtroom after another, he won the case against his ex-wife
for paternity fraud, only to experience a defeat, following Meredith's appeal.

The High Court's Justice Susan Crennan finalized her judgment ‘based on her own
personal baggage.’ Liam lost everything through an amnesty that disallowed him
any compensation or reimbursement. Liam, who was completely let down by a
prejudice court system, witnessed the outcome that irrevocably gave Meredith the
right to walk away without accounting for her destructive actions.  The verdict of
Justice Crennan and her fellow judges was as brutal as it was unreasonable and
should never have been executed.

One man, Liam Neale Magill, waged his eight-year war against all odds, within the
Courtrooms of Australia.  In the company of his attorney, Vivien Mavropoulos and
Cheryl King, Liam’s Enduring Power of Attorney, they wrought a new classification
for their Law of Deceit.

This landmark case, a major component of Australian Legal History, is currently
being taught at Law Universities in Australia.  The totality of the subject matter shook
the annals of decree, leaving an indelible mark on society.  With new avenues open,
this precedent is giving hope to other Paternity Fraud Victims, who are following and
continue Liam’s fight to change those laws.
